I'm reading quite a bit, but between the job and the baby, blogging is falling by the wayside. Maybe I'll do better if I try to do really short reviews?
It's worth all the hype

leads to less compelling work
fine descriptions though
But I don't want to forget to write about these books . . . Someday when I have more time! Tall Man was really amazing; a searing work of non-fiction written by a novelist. Let the Great World Spin has won a gazillion awards and is breathtaking in its scope and in McCann's ability to put on and take off a character's voice like a pair of jeans. That said, something seemed . . . Lacking, to me. More when the baby isn't about to wake up!
